Carbon Reduction Plan FAQs

Can you help us with other sustainability requirements?

Yes, we can.

While Carbon Reduction Plans and NHS Evergreen are often the first step, we support clients with a wide range of sustainability goals. This includes ESG reporting, materiality assessments, sustainability roadmaps, Scope 3 strategy, supply chain engagement, and staff training. We also help with certification frameworks like B Corp, SBTi, and ISO 14001, as well as ad-hoc sustainability support for tenders and bids.

If you’re looking to go beyond compliance and build a credible, long-term sustainability strategy, we’re here to help. If you need any additional information or support, just get in touch with a member of the team.

Can you support me with NHS Evergreen?

Yes, we provide full support with the NHS Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment.

We’ll help you produce a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) that’s guaranteed to be compliant with NHS Evergreen and PPN 06/21.

When you’re ready to submit, our consultants will sit down with you on a video call to review your Evergreen submission together and make sure all data is correct and complete. We also support Scope 3 reporting, evidence gathering, and annual updates so you stay compliant, confident, and competitive.

Does this meet PPN 06/21 tender requirements?

Yes. All our CRPs are fully aligned with PPN 06/21 as an absolute minimum. They are designed specifically to meet government, NHS and private sector tender criteria. We’ve helped pass 100+ submissions with zero rejections due to our work.

How long will it take?

We’re happy to move at your pace.

Some clients require rapid turnaround for compliance and we’re able to complete the entire process in just a few working days. Others prefer to take their time, sharing data gradually over the course of several weeks or months.

We’ll work with whatever timeline suits your business best.

How much will this cost?

It really depends on the complexity of your organisation, the requirements of the submission, the quality and availability of your data, and how complex your operations and supply chains are. There’s no one-size-fits-all. All of our pricing is tailored to your specific needs and situation.

We’re proud to offer competitive pricing tailored to your needs. Use the form below to get in touch and we’ll provide a bespoke quote based on the exact level of support your business requires.

What if I cant access the required data?

That’s not a problem. We regularly work with businesses that don’t have perfect data.

In most cases, we can help you make reasonable estimates or assumptions based on what you do know. Your dedicated consultant will guide you through this and make sure everything still meets compliance standards.

We’ll also help you put a plan in place to improve your data over time, so you’re in a stronger position for future reporting. You don’t need perfect data to get started, we’ll help you work with what you have.

What is a Carbon Reduction Plan?

A Carbon Reduction Plan is a clear, data-backed strategy that outlines how your organisation plans to reach net zero. It includes detailed reporting on your Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, your Net Zero targets, and a practical roadmap of actions you’ll take to cut emissions over time. Increasingly, public and private sector clients are demanding these plans from their suppliers, and it’s becoming a pass/fail requirement in tenders, regardless of contract size. What Scope 3 categories do you include?

We recommend all businesses report across all 13 Scope 3 categories wherever possible. It provides a more complete and credible picture of your carbon footprint and helps future-proof your reporting as expectations rise across supply chains and sectors.

While we always cover the categories required for PPN 06/21 and NHS Evergreen — such as business travel, employee commuting, waste, and transport — most organisations benefit from going further.

The right approach depends on your business model, client requirements, and where you are in your sustainability journey. We’ll help you make the right call and keep the process clear, focused, and manageable.
